Designer Kristine Bjaadal has created a piece that is both beautiful and playful. It is a tablecloth that appears to be like any other at first glance, until someone accidentally (or in a drunken state) spills their drink upon it. At first one would yell and curse the drunk who spilled red wine on their freshly starched white tablecloth, but that anger would quickly subside as the stain begins to reveal a hidden pattern.
Although I think the pattern itself could have been pushed a little bit more and been a bit more original, it is nonetheless a great idea. The only problem I can foresee is people "accidentally" spilling their drinks all too often, but ultimately who really cares when it can turn a boring meal into something a bit more fun.
