Tattoo Money

These are insane. Laser cut money by tattoo artist Scott Campbell. There are few words that can describe this so I will let you formulate your own.

the Drawing Machine Goes to London

For our first act, Alice and I will be going to London June 6-8 as The Drawing Machine. We are showing our stuff at the Curate40 show and it should be action packed and exciting! Maybe not action packed, but definitely exciting! Check out the Curate40 site HERE and The Drawing Machine Site HERE to see some of the things we will be showing. Wish us luck!

the COCO.CO

the COCO.CO is a make believe chocolate I made up. To play with chocolate is beautiful. It is graphic and good. Just some food for thought.

My Experiment: It starts with a doodle.

This is a little experiment of mine. I call it the doodle, or doodling (from the verb: to doodle). It's actually more doodle than experiment, and some go so far as to call it a waste of time. Perhaps I will do a series of these doodles and create an entire wall of doodles. I think the act of doodling or to doodle is something that should be explored more. It is liberating and frees the mind. With no goal in sight you would be surprised just how far down the rabbit hole a doodle will take you. Who ever said time wasting is a waste of time should try this...it might actually change your life.

O-K Periodical Submission

Today Alice and I submitted our first project together as The Drawing Machine! It will hopefully be part of the O.K Periodical issue #4 that will be released in the next couple months.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

"29 Curious Objects"

The project started with a trip to the local second hand shop in Eindhoven, NL. Our objective was to find objects that in one way or another intrigued and baffled us. Once we made up our small collection of objects, we came to realize that the objects themselves on the surface were very ordinary. It wasn't until we began to explore them from different angles that we found the curiosity within them.
